Ruby Soho has advanced in the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament.
During the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker and Ruby Soho met in the last quarterfinal match for this year’s women’s Owen Hart Cup. It was a rematch from last year’s finals, which saw Baker prevail.
Baker remained resilient in this year’s clash, however, The Outcasts being at ringside certainly paid off for Soho. After several ringside interferences, Soho reversed a pinfall and stacked on top of Baker while holding onto Storm to secure the three-count.
As a result, Soho will now face Skye Blue in a semi-finals bout on next week’s Dynamite, while Athena vs. Willow Nightingale has been confirmed for this Saturday on AEW Collision. The winners of those matches will compete in this year’s finals on the July 15 Collision in Calgary.
