Chris Hero seemingly confirms that he is working as a coach for All Elite Wrestling.
Fightful Select previously reported that Hero was set to be backstage at the June 17 episode of AEW Collision, and he would be working for the company on a trial basis.
In a tweet on June 26, Hero posted a photo of himself and NJPW’s Chris Charlton and stated that was “doing a little coaching” at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Hero can be seen wearing an AEW lanyard in the picture.
Though Hero has not wrestled since his WWE release in 2020, he recently said that he not retired, and he is waiting for the right situation.
