WWE is loading up the card for the June 16 episode of WWE SmackDown; the show will feature a gauntlet match where a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships will be on the line. Plus, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will appear on the show.
As confirmed during the June 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, the majority of SmackDown’s tag team division will clash in a Gauntlet Match. After Pretty Deadly, LWO, The O.C., and Brawling Brutes interrupted Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage. Adam Pearce then set up a Tag Team Gauntlet Match where the winner will get a shot at the titles.
Elsewhere in the night, Roman Reigns is set to make his much-anticipated return to SmackDown. This appearance will mark Reigns’ first time on the show since the June 3 edition, where his 1,000-day celebration was crashed by The Usos. The drama within The Bloodline continues to rise, and Reigns’ return will likely heat the situation up even more.
Plus, Grayson Waller will also host a special episode of the Grayson Waller Effect with Charlotte Flair, who returned on the June 9 episode and confronted WWE Women’s Champion Asuka. Finally, AJ Styles and Michin will take on Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Kross attacked Styles at ringside on Friday night.
