Katana Chance and Kayden Carter made a strong impression on their first night on WWE RAW.
The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were selected by RAW in the 2023 WWE Draft, and they arrived on the red brand on the June 5 episode of WWE RAW. There, they confronted WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey. The newcomers made it clear that they wanted to make a mark, as they challenged the champions to a match. Rousey mocked them, but the duo agreed to the match.
Rousey and Baszler might have underestimated the former NXT stars, as Carter and Chance more than held their own with the champions. They nearly scored the upset victory on multiple occasions, but in the end, Baszler made Carter tap out.
