Let the speculation begin, as AEW CEO Tony Khan is set to make another announcement.
As All Elite Wrestling announced in a tweet, Khan will make an announcement about the debut of AEW Collision on the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW Collision will premiere on June 17, and it has previously been reported that former AEW World Champion CM Punk is expected to make his return on the show. The location wasn’t initially announced, but Khan recently confirmed that the premiere will be held at the United Center in Chicago.
Khan has also stated that he would provide more information about how AEW would allocate talent across Dynamite and Collision following the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
AEW also announced that Konosuke Takeshita and Don Callis will appear on the May 31 episode of AEW Dynamite Fans will hear from Takeshita and Callis for the first time since AEW Double or Nothing on Wednesday.
At the pay-per-view on May 28, Callis distracted Kenny Omega, and Konosuke Takeshita attacked the former AEW World Champion. Takeshita’s betrayal helped Blackpool Combat Club win the Anarchy in the Arena match against The Elite.
