Mark Andrews shares his thoughts on his return to IMPACT Wrestling at IMPACT Under Siege.
Andrews spent several years with WWE, as he first started wrestling for the company in 2017. He became a featured member of the NXT UK roster, as he won the NXT UK Tag Team Championship with Flash Morgan Webster.
Andrews and many other members of NXT UK were released when the brand was put on hiatus in August 2022. Webster and Andrews will be back in the spotlight at IMPACT Under Siege, as IMPACT announced that they will challenge for the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship at the event.
Speaking on Mark Andrews’ My Love Letter To Wrestling, the former NXT UK star commented on his return to IMPACT.
“I’m excited. kind of had my first big break in wrestling with IMPACT Wrestling back in 2014. I was a 21-year-old and I won their TV show, British Bootcamp. It was a great experience, and I had two years with the company, and honestly, some of my favorite memories in wrestling were with IMPACT Wrestling before I went to WWE.
“The fact that now I’m able to go back, not only to IMPACT, but I get to bring two of my mates as well, I get to bring Dani Luna and Flash Morgan Webster, I’m buzzing.”
IMPACT recently announced that Joe Hendry will defend the IMPACT Digital Media Championship against Dirty Dango at Under Siege. More information is available here.
WrestleZone will have coverage of IMPACT Under Siege as it airs on May 26.
