Is John Cena‘s Peacemaker about to make his debut in the Mortal Kombat universe?
Earlier this week, NetherRealm Studios’ latest video game Mortal Kombat 1, was announced, which is a continuation of the story that left off following the events of Mortal Kombat 11.
While we don’t know much about the game right now, including the entire on-disc roster, the DLC content for the first Kombat Pack has already been leaked.
According to Mike Straw at Insider Gaming, Amazon Italy accidentally leaked the contents for Kombat Pack 1 of Mortal Kombat 1, which features six new playable characters and five Kameo Fighters.
These six playable characters are reportedly included in Kombat Pack 1:
- Quan Chi
- Ermac
- Takahashi Takeda
- Peacemaker (from DC Comics)
- Homelander (from The Boys)
- Omni Man (from Image Comics)
The following new Kameo Fighters are:
- Johnny Cage
- Tremor
- Khameleon
- Mavado
- Ferra
Since this is a leak, it has yet to be clarified if John Cena’s voice and likeness will be included for the Peacemaker character or if this will be more of a situation that we’ve seen in past Marvel and DC video games where they don’t utilize the actor’s voice or likeness in order to save money.
