It sounds like WWE continues to plan out future locations for WrestleMania years in advance.
Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill was a recent guest on 3HL 104.5 to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the new stadium for the Tennessee Titans that will be built by early 2027, Nihill spoke about how much impact it will have on the local community and that WWE has already committed to having WrestleMania there that year.
“I mean, we just know these folks well,” Burke Nihill began. “There’s been a shift in how they do them over the last ten years. It used to be that they were looking for just a really good, whatever the event is they were doing, and now these are week-long festivals or whatever they are, so it’s great for the community. The community gets to experience it whether or not they have a ticket. You know, a lot of jobs, a lot of economic benefits that come. WrestleMania isn’t hypothetical, by the way. WrestleMania has already committed to 2027.”
The WrestleMania 43 plans were mentioned by Dave Meltzer in this week’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting the idea for WrestleMania 43 to be in Tennesse is that it would be one of the first big events at the stadium even before the Titans play there later in the year.
