Despite rumors to the contrary, Minneapolis may not necessarily be a finalist for the host city of WWE WrestleMania 41.
Patrick Kessler of CBS Minneapolis tweeted that, per a source, Minneapolis was a finalist city for WrestleMania in 2025.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that nothing is imminent regarding any announcement of WrestleMania 41’s location.
Sapp writes that Minneapolis sent representatives to WrestleMania 39 to see how the show came across and how it was run overall, though this is a fairly common approach. Per Sapp, Minneapolis is one of many cities in the running. Additionally, Sapp reports that WWE has said they view Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium as a world-class venue.
WWE WrestleMania 40 will officially be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 6 and April 7, 2024.
