Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn are the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions and were drafted to WWE SmackDown over the weekend but their work in NXT is far from finished.
The duo will defend their tag team championships against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter on the May 2 episode of WWE NXT. They just recently won the titles, as they defeated Fallon Henley and Kiana James at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.
The match was teased on the April 28 episode of SmackDown, where the champions were confronted by Chance and Carter after being drafted to the main roster.
Like Dawn and Fyre, JD McDonagh will compete in his last NXT match on Tuesday; he will battle Dragon Lee in a singles match. McDonagh was drafted to WWE RAW during the 2023 WWE Draft.
The updated card for the May 2 episode of WWE NXT is as follows:

- NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship: Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre (c) vs. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter

- Dani Palmer makes her NXT in-ring debut
