WWE SmackDown viewership dropped on April 21.
According to Wrestlenomics, 2.175 million viewers tuned in on Friday, which is down from last week, when 2.265 million viewers watched the show.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.54 rating, which marks a decrease from the previous week (0.58 rating). SmackDown ranked #4 among broadcast primetime and cable originals in the key demographic on Friday.
The April 21 viewership number marks a new 2023-low for SmackDown, which faced competition from both the NBA and NHL Playoffs.
This week’s episode was headlined by a No Disqualification match between Solo Sikoa and Matt Riddle. Plus, Xavier Woods challenged Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
