Jade Cargill will defend the TBS Championship on the April 26 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As confirmed during the April 19 episode, Taya Valkyrie will challenge Jade Cargill for the gold. Valkyrie set her sets on Cargill and her title upon her debut on the March 15 episode of Dynamite. Cargill has been locked in a heated feud with the challenger ever since, and they will collide on Wednesday.
Plus, the Pillars Tournament will continue, as Sammy Guevara will take Darby Allin. Guevara advanced to the second round by defeating “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry on the April 19 episode, while AEW World Champion MJF announced that Allin had a bye in the tournament.
The winner of the match between Guevara and Allin will earn the right to challenge MJF for the title at AEW Double or Nothing. Guevara and MJF are seemingly in cahoots; Guevara accepted a blank check from MJF in exchange for the main event spot at AEW Double or Nothing, with the agreed stipulation that Guevara would lay down for the champion during the bout.
