The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) will defend the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship at NJPW Capital Collision.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that Sabin and Shelley will put the titles on the line against former champions Aussie Open (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) and the team of Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi. Okada is the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
The Motor City Machine Guns won the titles by defeating Aussie Open and the team of The DKC and Kevin Knight at Rumble on 44th Street on October 28, 2022.
NJPW recently announced that KENTA will defend the STRONG Openweight Tag Team Championship against Eddie Edwards at NJPW Capital Collision.
