The card for AAA’s Triplemania event in Monterrey has been announced
At a press conference on March 28, Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide conformed several bouts for the show on April 16. Most notably, the winner of El Hijo del Vikingo’s match with Komander at ROH Supercard of Honor will defend the AAA Mega Championship.
Plus, following an altercation at the “World is a Vampire” music festival, Chessman will face social media influencer Adrian Marcelo. Elsewhere on the show, LA Park will return to AAA in a tag team match where he will team up with RIUSH to face Blue Demon Jr. and DMT Azul.
Additionally, Dralistico, who was double booked for Pro Wrestling NOAH’s event the same day, was taken out of the Lucha de Apuestas Cage Match, and Abismo Negro Jr. will take his place.
The card is as follows:
- AAA Mega Championship: Winner of Hijo del Vikingo vs. Komander defends against TBA
- Guerra de Rivalidades first round: Blue Demon Jr. & DMT Azul vs. Rush & LA Park
- Guerra de Rivalidades first round: Sam Adonis and Psycho Clown vs. Pentagon Jr. & Alberto El Patron
- Lucha de Apuestas cage match: Abismo Negro Jr. vs. Black Taurus vs. Laredo Kid vs. Aerostar vs. Octagon Jr. vs. Hijo de Villano III Jr. vs. Argenis vs. Myzteziz Jr. vs. Parka Negra vs. Antifaz del Norte
- Mask vs. Mask match between the last two competitors in the cage match
- Chessman vs. Adrian Marcelo
- Copa Triplemania: Team Regios (El Zorro, Toscano, Baby Extreme, Flammer, and TBA) vs. Team Chilangos (Negro Casas, Latigo, Arez, Dave the Clown, and Lady Shani)
