Shawn Michaels is coming to NXT Roadblock.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been at odds with Grayson Waller for a number of weeks, particularly since the Australian star unsuccessfully challenged NXT Champion Bron Breakker for the gold in a Steel Cage Match at NXT Vengeance Day. Shortly before the match, Michaels changed the stipulation so that it could only be won by pinfall or submission. Waller has blamed Michaels’ actions for his loss, and he lashed out at the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative. Waller confronted Michaels at the post-show press conference, and he was subsequently suspended for a week.
Upon his return, Waller got into another heated confrontation with Michaels, and the legend had him escorted out of the building. Waller has since been barred from coming to NXT, but he hijacked into the broadcast of the February 21 episode. He invited Michaels to appear on The Grayson Waller Effect on NXT Roadblock, and Michaels gave his answer the following week.
On the February 28 episode of NXT, WWE announced that Michaels accepted the offer, as he noted that Waler’s behavior would only get worse if he did not. Michaels promised to be as professional as he can be.
WrestleZone will have coverage of NXT Roadblock as it airs on March 7.
