Trish Stratus has come back to WWE.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned at the end of the February 27 episode of WWE RAW. In the main event, Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Becky Lynch and Lita, who made the challenge for the bout on the February 20 episode. Lita previously returned on the February 6 episode of RAW and helped Lynch defeat Bayley in a Steel Cage Match. Stratus became the second legend to return and help “The Man” on Monday night.
Bayley interfered and tipped the momentum in her stablemates’ favor throughout the title match. However, Stratus ran down and attacked her, which prevented her from continuing to involve herself in the action. Lynch and Lita then capitalized, with the WWE Hall of Famer pinning SKY with a moonsault for the victory.
Stratus had been absent since she appeared on the August 22 episode of WWE RAW. She was reportedly set to appear on the February 20 episode, but she wound up leaving before the planned segment took place due to a creative change.
