The potential main event of IMPACT Rebellion has been announced.
IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed that Josh Alexander will defend the IMPACT World Championship against Steve Maclin at the show on April 16. Maclin earned the title shot by winning a four-way match at IMPACT No Surrender on February 24. Later in the show, Alexander retained his title against former world champion Rich Swann, and IMPACT subsequently conformed that Maclin will get his shot at Rebellion.

Alexander has held the title for over 300 days, making him the longest-reigning world champion in IMPACT history. He kicked off his reign by beating Moose at Rebellion 2022.
