Two of NJPW’s top stars will collide at NJPW Battle in the Valley.
At NJPW New Beginning in Osaka on February 11, Kazuchika Okada defeated Shingo Takagi to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. Hiroshi Tanahashi was on commentary for the bout, and Okada challenged him to a match at NJPW Battle in the Valley. Tanahashi then accepted the challenge, so he will challenge for the gold on February 18.
After a nomination from Kazuchika Okada, San Jose will see the next chapter in a legendary rivalry February 18!
