Apollo Crews and Carmelo Hayes will clash again at NXT Vengeance Day.
The two stars have traded wins, as Hayes has defeated Crews in a singles bout, while Crews pinned the former NXT North American Champion in a tag team match. Both men are determined to earn a shot at the NXT Championship, and they will seemingly settle the score at the premium live event on February 4.
On the January 24 episode of NXT, Crews visited Hayes’ barber, and “Melo” confronted him. Crews made it clear that Hayes wasn’t going to get rid of him, and they were both chasing the same goal. With that in mind, he challenged Hayes to a Two-out-of-Three Falls Match at NXT Vengeance Day.
