Xavier Woods is currently one-half of the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions. On the most recent episode of NXT, Kofi Kingston wrestled Joe Gacy in a singles match. Kofi Kingston also wrestled in a singles match against Santos Escobar on Friday, January 6’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
According to a new report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Xavier Woods is currently “banged up” and not 100% medically cleared. According to the report, Xavier should be entirely cleared by the WWE Royal Rumble event. Currently, Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar, and Ricochet are the only three men announced for the titular Battle Royal.

The New Day is currently feuding with Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince and Kit Wilson on television. During a recent WWE live event in Jackson, Mississippi, the former NXT Tag Team Champions made their WWE main roster live event debuts against Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a non-title bout.
