Drew McIntyre is back.
On the December 30 episode of WWE SmackDown, Sheamus faced Solo Sikoa in a heated singles match. Sikoa and The Bloodline have been feuding with Sheamus and The Brawling Brutes for a number of weeks. McIntyre and Kevin Owens teamed up with the trio to face The Bloodline in a WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series, where Roman Reigns and his team scored the win. McIntyre has been sidelined since the live event the day after the premium live event, as he had been dealing with an injury.
On Friday night, Sikoa defeated Sheamus. When The Bloodline tried to lay out the Brawling Brutes with a post-match attack, McIntyre came to the ring and evened the odds. He clotheslined Sikoa out of the ring and took the fight to The Usos.

McIntyre appeared on the December 26 episode of SmackDown and teased that he’d be back soon. He didn’t leave the fans waiting too long for his return, which came just in time for the new year.
