AEW Rampage viewership increased on December 16.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 464,000 viewers watched the show on Friday night, which is up from last week, when 457,000 viewers tuned in. Thurston noted that Friday’s viewership marked Rampage’s highest number since October.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, Rampage scored a 0.15 rating, which is a notable increase from last week (0.11 rating in the same demographic).

Per Thurston, Rampage ranked #15 among cable originals in the demographic.
This week’s episode opened with a match between Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita. In the main event, Orange Cassidy teamed up with Dustin Rhodes, Chuck Taylor, and Trent Beretta to face The Butcher, The Blade, Trent Seven, and Kip Sabian. Plus, Britt Baker faced Skye Blue, and Wardlow competed on the show.
