Five matches have been made official for the December 20 episode of WWE NXT.
After Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne) vs. Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley ended in a melee on December 13, a triple threat has been booked. On the December 20 episode, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter will defend their NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship against both Toxic Attraction and Ivy Nile & Tatum Paxley.
The New Day will also defend their NXT Tag Team Championship as they put their new gold on the line for the first time against the duo of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen. This match came about after Briggs and Jensen interrupted and recited the Pledge of Allegiance before Pretty Deadly could do so after the New Day said they’d give them a title shot in exchange for the recital.
Additionally, Axiom will clash with Carmelo Hayes, while Zoey Stark will go one-on-one with her former tag team partner Nikkita Lyons. Apollo Crews will appear for the first time following his loss at NXT Deadline, and Elektra Lopez will take on Indi Hartwell.
