Tis the season to be jolly, or maybe, wreak some havok?
“The Leader of the Emo Heads” Brooke Havok graced the professional wrestling world with her official return, during the most wonderful time of the year. According, she’s already been spreading the holiday fear to her opponents. Havok recently explained she’s actually quite festive though. “I love the holidays so much,” she told WrestleZone’s own Ella Jay.
When she’s not donning her black, lightning bolt-themed ring gear, Havok can be seen sporting a unique Christmas sweater inspired by a popular 2008 film. Gifted to her by her boyfriend, and fellow wrestler, Alan Angels, Havok cherishes this holiday sweater. “I have this really cool light-up Step Brothers ugly Christmas sweater because I’m a huge fan of Step Brothers,” she revealed.
In terms of holiday music, Havok enjoys a variety of anthems, including holiday trap remixes. “They just go so hard,” she said. More classically, Havok revealed three of her more traditional favorites, including Last Christmas by Wham!, and Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) by Mariah Carey. “Those are bangers,” she said, “and Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree [by Brenda Lee]. So good.”
Overall, one of Havok’s favorite aspects of the holidays stems from a childhood tradition. “Decorating the tree as a kid is probably the most fun thing ever because [I love] picking out your ornaments and the special ones. Just getting together in your Christmas pajamas and decorating the tree, that’s definitely one of the best.”
Perhaps most importantly, Havok specified that her family starts putting up the decorations “usually right after Thanksgiving.” She tried to convince her mother to begin “right after Halloween,” but unfortunately, her mother said it was pushing it “too close.”
