New champions were crowned at IMPACT Wrestling‘s Winter Warfare tapings in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) defeated Heath and Rhino to win the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship. In doing so, they won the titles for the third time. They earned the title shot when they defeated Ace Austin and Chris Bey at IMPACT Over Drive on November 18.
Heath and Rhino previously won the gold by beating Matt Taven and Mike Bennett at the IMPACT tapings on October 8, and the match aired on the October 20 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
