A new match will debut at WWE NXT Deadline.
Shawn Michaels announced on the November 15 edition of WWE NXT that NXT Deadline will feature a brand new match type: the Iron Survivor Challenge. Five men and five women will compete in these 25-minute matches for the right to become number one contender to their respective singles titles.
Two competitors will start the match and a new entrant will join the match every five minutes. The goal is to score the most falls during the 25-minute match as each fall equals a point. If a competitor is pinned or submitted, they lose points and have to spend 90 seconds in a penalty box before returning to the match.

Participants for the first Iron Survivor Challenge matches will be revealed in the coming weeks. NXT Deadline will take place on Saturday, December 10, and will be NXT’s final premium live event for 2022. WrestleZone will continue to provide updates as they become available.
