WWE SmackDown viewership increased on October 14.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 2.274 million viewers watched the show, which is up from last week, when 2.243 million viewers tuned in.
In the 18 to 49 demographic, SmackDown scored a 0.54, which equals last week’s rating. Thurston noted that SmackDown ranked fifth in the demo among broadcast primetime and cable originals. Coverage of the MLB playoffs outranked SmackDown.
Baseball playoffs outranked Smackdown.
Padres vs. Dodges on FS1 (1.07), the earlier Braves vs. Phillies game on FS1 (0.70), the Cleveland vs. Yankees game on TBS (0.59), and the pre-game for the later game on FS1 (0.59).

This week’s episode featured Bray Wyatt’s return to the blue brand following his arrival at WWE Extreme Rules. In the main event, Sheamus battled Ricochet, Rey Mysterio, and Solo Sikoa for a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Plus, Sami Zayn faced Kofi Kingston, and Roxanne Perez took on Bayley.
