A breakdown of everything surrounding Josh Alexander and the World Championship following the October 13 episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
Frankie Kazarian Cashing In Option C
On tonight’s episode of IMPACT, many wrestlers staked their claim as the person who should have the right to dethrone Josh Alexander as IMPACT World Champion. Tonight, Bobby Fish had his opportunity and came up short against “The Walking Weapon.” However, after the match, Josh was immediately gifted with yet another challenger. This time, it was Frankie Kazarian.
Kazarian recently became IMPACT X-Division Champion for the fifth time at Bound For Glory but he was not interested in holding the belt for long. Frankie Kazarian announced at the end of tonight’s show that he would be cashing in his championship and exercising Option C, granting him a guaranteed World Championship opportunity.
As of yet, the match does not have a set date, but Frankie Kazarian will be aiming to capture World Championship gold for the first time in his career.

IMPACT Locker Room Leery Of Bully Ray
Another major thread throughout the evening on October 14 was the attitude of Bully Ray. A former IMPACT World Champion in his own right, Ray has a guaranteed world championship match of his own against Josh Alexander at any time he chooses because he won the Bound For Glory Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Tonight, Bully was the first person to step up to Josh Alexander but he made it clear that after years of treachery, he wants to do things right this time.

Throughout the night, there were many backstage segments questioning whether or not Bully could be trusted. Scott D’Amore personally spoke with Josh Alexander and tried to warn him about what Bully Ray is capable of.

Tommy Dreamer spoke to Bully, telling him he knows he has a good heart but he also knows that when Championship gold is on the line, Bully’s morality can go out the window. Tommy asked Bully, whom he will team with next week, not to make him look like a fool.
