Hank Walker is moving on up.
In recent weeks, the security guard has been appearing on WWE NXT 2.0, and he has been feuding with Javier Bernal. They clashed in a singles match on the September 13 episode of the show, and Walker scored the victory in his NXT 2.0 in-ring debut.
In a WWE Digital Exclusive after the bout, Walker celebrated the win with some security guards. WWE Vice President of Talent Development Shawn Michaels then approached Walker and offered him an NXT contract. While Bernal crashed the party and told Walker his win was a fluke, the newcomer still signed the contract, so he has joined the NXT brand.

According to CAGEMATCH, Walker made is debut at a live event in June. He then wrestled at the June 28 taping of NXT Level Up, and he
WWE announced Walker’s signing in March, when he was confirmed as a member of a class of Performance Center recruits. He is a former college football player with NC State, where he scored Third Team All-ACC honors. In 2021, he made the Atlanta Falcons’ preseason training camp, but he was not included on the team’s final roster.
