Things just don’t appear to be going Doug Williams‘ way right now.
Doug Williams took to social media this morning to announce that he currently has a shoulder injury and has canceled all of his September bookings because of it. Sending out the following message:
“Due to a shoulder injury I have cancelled all my September bookings. Apologies to those affected. Not something I would have done in the past, but nowadays my health comes first,” Doug Williams said in a tweet.
It’s been a rough few weeks for Williams after having to relinquish the NWA World Tag Team Championships at NWA 74. Commonwealth Connection vacated the titles due to Harry Smith not being cleared to compete due to sickness. It’s unclear if Williams and Smith will get a shot to regain their titles or not at some point in the future.
WrestleZone spoke to Williams earlier this year about a wide variety of subjects. You can check out that interview by clicking here.
