Carmella has been sidelined in recent weeks, but she’s reportedly set to return in the near future.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion is “expected” to be back on the road next month. He noted that her return is “within sight.”
The self-proclaimed “Most Beautiful Woman” in WWE” has been sidelined since August 6, when she suffered an apparent injury at the Saturday Night’s Main Event show in South Carolina. She inadvertently collided with Bianca Belair during a three-way bout that also included Asuka.
She hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV since the July 18 episode of WWE RAW, where she unsuccessfully challenged Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship. She then competed on the July 25 episode of Main Event; she and Tamina lost to Asuka and Dana Brooke.
