WWE SmackDown dipped below two million viewers on August 26, but the demographic rating increased.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.990 million viewers tuned in on Friday night. This number is down from last week, when 2.084 million viewers watched the show on Friday. Thurston also pointed out that, for the third week in a row, SmackDown was preempted in some coverage of the NFL preseason.
This Rampage essentially tied w/ May 6 and Jul 29 for the lowest P18-49 in the program’s 1-year history.
Smackdown was preempted in a few markets for the third consecutive week due to NFL preseason.
