AEW Fight Forever may not be available to fans at this time but that has not stopped the game from bringing in an award. The game was recently awarded ‘best sports/racing game’ at Gamescom 2022.
The game was nominated for the award alongside GOAL! The Club Manager and Ultimechs. Evil Uno accepted the award on the behalf of the company.
Kenny Omega shared his excitement for the news on Twitter, saying “Really cool to see. Just as valuable as any title belt to me.” While early thoughts of the game were not necessarily superb, opinions have drastically changed in the last few weeks.
IGN gave a positive early review of the game, saying that the game has very close similarities to ‘WWF No Mercy’. IGN stated gameplay is easy, simple, and efficient, noting that it will likely appeal to those looking for something different from modern wrestling video games.
