Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah are moving on to the finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
The August 26 edition of WWE SmackDown featured two pivotal matches in the tournament to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. To start, four-way “last chance” tag team match was contested to determine who would advance to the semi-finals. Toxic Attraction originally qualified for the spot, but their team was pulled due to Gigi Dolin suffering an injury.
Natalya and Sonya Deville were victorious over Dana Brooke and Tamina, Xia Li and Shotzi, and Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop when Deville pinned Nikki A.S.H. to advance.
Later on in the show, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah beat Deville and Natalya to advance to the finals. The finish saw Rodriguez pin Deville following the Tejana Bomb.

Rodriguez and Aliyah will now face IYO SKY and Dakota Kai on the August 29 edition of WWE Raw to crown the new champions.
