The main event of IMPACT Bound For Glory is set.
The August 23 edition of IMPACT Wrestling was headlined by a six-way elimination number one contender’s match to determine the next challenger for Josh Alexander’s World Championship.
Steve Maclin and Moose united early on to eliminate Sami Callihan first, but then Maclin eliminated Moose right after. Bandido removed Maclin from the bout before Eddie Edwards shockingly eliminated Bandido. The match then came down to former champions Eddie Edwards and Rich Swann. Edwards managed to use a kendo stick behind the ref’s back, but it wasn’t enough. After a Boston Knee Party and Die Hard Driver, Edwards pinned Swann for the victory.
