In a stunning turn of events tonight at AEW Dynamite, The Gunn Club turned on their founder and leader, with both of Billy Gunn’s sons taking down their father in an ambush.
In a match against The Varsity Blondes that saw The Gunn Club walk away with a quick win. Following the win, Billy Gunn got on the microphone and began praising his sons, saying that’s what he’s been trying to teach them the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately for Gunn, though, he was promptly interrupted by Stokley Hathaway.
With Gunn too preoccupied with Hathaway, he didn’t see as his sons both attacked him, dropping him to the ground and delivering a series of kicks and punches to him before The Acclaimed came running down for the save. After helping up Gunn, he then stood with The Acclaimed, reuniting with the pair for a Scissor Party.
