Santos Escobar is back with a vengeance.
The August 2 episode of WWE NXT 2.0 featured a NXT Tag Team Championship match pitting The Creed Brothers against Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo. The end of the bout saw the return of Santos Escobar as he reunited with Legado del Fantasma to prevent the D’Angelo Family from capturing their first championship.
Escobar has been off TV for the past month with his absence being attributed to a storyline hospitalization. Meanwhile, the other members of Legado del Fantasma have been following the orders of Tony D’Angelo as a result of The D’Angelo Family beating them in a six-man tag match at NXT In Your House in June.

Later in the show, Escobar called D’Angelo and noted that they couldn’t work for each other, but they couldn’t work together, either. As a result, they agreed to have one final accord as they attempt to settle their feud once and for all.
