In a stellar opening match to tonight’s WWE SummerSlam event, Bianca Belair finally got revenge against Becky Lynch for her shocking loss last year.
The two superstars met in the ring tonight, with Belair defending her WWE RAW Women’s Championship in what was an incredible match between the two. Despite having the upperhand several times, Lynch could never put down Belair for good, and with the two up on the ropes, Lynch’s attempted Manhandle Slam was countered by Belair, who flipped her over and then hit a KOD to end things.
Following the match, however, things got a bit chaotic. With Lynch taking in the loss, she extended a hand to Belair, with the two superstars shaking hands before uniting in a hug.

As Belair went on to celebrate, she was interrupted by the surprise return of Bayley, a superstar who has been away from WWE for nearly a full year after suffering an ACL tear last June. With the crowd already shocked, Bayley then welcomed out none other than Dakota Kai, seemingly back with the WWE, and Io Shirai.
Just as the trio was ready to get into the ring, though, Becky Lynch returned, and the pair were able to scare off the trio before they departed. With Bayley and Kai now apparently back in the WWE fold, however, it raises more questions as to what will happen in the WWE Women’s division going forward, especially with Becky Lynch seemingly willing to work with Bianca Belair.
