Bryan Danielson is very proud of the fact that he was able to make William Regal crack on WWE programming several years ago.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Bryan Danielson was a recent guest on My Mom’s Basement with Robbie Fox to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about getting William Regal to crack on WWE television by playing the Real Man’s Man entrance theme during their 2011 encounter on WWE Superstars, Bryan admitted it was one of the proudest moments of his career.
“Yeah, pretty high. Right?” Bryan Danielson admitted. “I really enjoyed that, and I’m thrilled he’s here too because obviously, getting to see him every week it’s just a real treasure for me. So like, because for a long time we didn’t get to see each other hardly at all right and so now we get to see each other on a nearly weekly basis and work with people and joke and laugh and everything. So yeah, it’s been a blast.”
When asked if it was his idea to start training some of the talents at All Elite Wrestling, Danielson revealed that the idea came from Tony Khan.
“Well, no. So Tony Khan asked me to work with Jade Cargill,” Bryan Danielson revealed. “And so I was like, okay, Jade, when works best for you? And the women a lot of times have a training session at 12 with Dustin Rhodes, like a lot of the women go and do like a class setting with Dustin. And so it’d be better like, maybe one and then somebody else asked me, so Anthony Ogogo who is doing great, right? He asked me if we could start working together. And I was like, Yeah, but we’ll have to go in at 11, because the girls start at 12 And then I train with Jade at one and so then once you start… [laughs] But you know what, to me, it’s fun. So it’s like I would rather do that than sit in my hotel room. Right. So yeah, and I also too I feel like giving back which is part of this portion of my career, is to me feels like mostly one having fun and two giving back.”
