Four matches have been announced for this Friday’s AEW Rampage.
Competing in an AEW ring for the first time since Blood & Guts, Eddie Kingston will go one-on-one with Konosuke Takeshita on the July 8 episode.
Plus, after a confrontation on the June 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy will battle Tony Nese in a singles match. On Wednesday, “Smart” Mark Sterling asked Cassidy to sign his petition to have Swerve Strickland removed from AEW. When “Freshly Squeezed” refused to sign it without the presence of his lawyer, Danhausen, Sterling issued the challenge for a match. If Nese wins, Cassidy will have to sign the petition.
Ring of Honor will have a presence throughout the hour as ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham and Lee Moriarty will team up to take on Tully Blanchard’s Gates of Agony. Plus, ROH Women’s World Champion Mercedes Martinez will team up with Serena Deeb again in tag action, though their opponents have yet to be announced.
