FTR will aim to add another set of tag team titles to their collection at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
AEW has officially announced that FTR will put their ROH World Tag Team Championships on the line in a Winner Takes All Match against Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan, the IWGP Tag Team Champions, and Roppongi Vice (Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta).
FTR won the ROH titles by beating The Briscoes at ROH Supercard of Honor on April 1. Cobb and Great-O-Khan of United Empire captured the IWGP Tag Team Championship by dethroning BULLET CLUB’s Chase Owens and Bad Luck Fale at NJPW Dominion on June 12.

Cobb and Great-O-Khan made their AEW debut on the May 25 episode of AEW Dynamite by attacking FTR and Roppongi Vice during a match for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Their stablemates, Will Ospreay and Aussie Open, assaulted FTR and Beretta on the June 8 episode. FTR and Beretta defeated the trio on the June 10 episode of AEW Rampage, but Ospreay defeated Dax Harwood in a singles bout this past week on AEW Dynamite.
