Stephanie McMahon has issued her first statement since being named the Interim CEO of WWE.
Earlier today, WWE announced that Stephanie McMahon will fulfill the role of interim CEO and Chairwoman, amidst Vince McMahon stepping back from his responsibilities. McMahon has since released her first statement as acting CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, via Twitter:
Until the conclusion of the investigation into recent allegations, I am honored to assume the role of interim Chairwoman & CEO. I love @WWE and all it continues to do to entertain billions around the world.
Last month, Stephanie previously revealed she would be taking a leave of absence from a majority of her duties of WWE corporate to focus more on her family. However, with the pending allegations of a “hush pact” against Vince McMahon and Head of Talent Relation John Laurinaitis reported by the Wall Street Journal, Stephanie has once again resumed her responsibilities.
