Chris Jericho and Minoru Suzuki will team up at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
On the June 15 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho interrupted the face-to-face confrontation between Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi, the two men who will compete for the Interim AEW World Championship at AEW Forbidden Door. He stated that he should be in the title match because he has defeated Tanahashi before. “The Wizard” then sent the Jericho Appreciation society to attack the duo. Lance Archer and Desperado of Suzuki-gun attacked Moxley and Tanahashi from behind before the JAS joined in on the assault.
Jericho then confirmed that Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti are the newest members of the stable, and Suzuki loaned Archer and Desperado to him because they’ll be joining forces at Forbidden Door. The former AEW World Champion announced that he, Guevara and Suzuki will face Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta, and Shota Umino at the show.
