Renee Paquette is no stranger to seeing her husband Jon Moxley covered in blood after some of his more grueling matches. However, there is one thing she wishes he’d stop doing in the ring.
The latest episode of Renee Paquette’s The Sessions podcast saw her team with Emilio Sparks in conducting a listener question and answer session. When asked if she could ask Jon Moxley to stop doing certain things in the ring, Paquette responded with the following:
“Licking people’s blood. One hundred percent. I don’t get it. I hate it. That definitely ranks really really high for me. Anytime he does it I’m like ‘why? what is happening? why are you doing this? I don’t think it’s necessary’. That would be the number one for me.”
Sparks then brought up another question for Paquette: “When he licks somebody’s blood and comes home a couple days later and wants to give you a smooch, how turned off are you?”
Renee revealed that blood in that instance doesn’t really phase her: “I actually don’t think about that at all. You would think I would think that, but at that point, I’m like, eh, some time has passed. I don’t really think about it. I worry more about the long-term effects.”
