Chelsea Green is one of the hottest stars right now in professional wrestling, but she recently shared who she deems as the next generation of stars to watch out for.
Ella Jay of SEScoops recently spoke with “The Hot Mess” about who Green believes are the biggest stars to watch in professional wrestling.
“Well, definitely Masha [Slamovich]. Masha, you’re going to see her come up. Lady Frost, you’re going to see her come up really quick. I can just tell they’re going to be future champions. And then I’ve never wrestled Skye Blue, but I really think that she is going to be the next hot thing.”
Masha Slamovich and Lady Frost signed with IMPACT Wrestling late last year. Since then, each has proven themselves to be valuable additions to the Knockouts Division alongside Chelsea Green. Skye Blue has made several appearances in the National Wrestling Alliance and All Elite Wrestling over the last year. Blue ranked #75 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Women’s 150 last year in her debut placement on the list.
Chelsea Green also made note a fourth competitor, who she was supposed to wrestle at one point:
“There’s someone I’m missing. Damn, and I’m really going to regret this. And whoever you are, I swear when this comes out, I will tweet at you. There’s someone else that I’m just like, Oh my God, she’s so damn good and I am going to kick myself right now. But those three we’re going to name for now.”
