Chris Bey Wants To Make Moments That Last Forever: The More I Create, The Better

Chris Bey hopes to make moments that stand the test of time.

During an appearance on the House of Hardcore Podcast, Chris Bey spoke about wanting to compete in Japan and work with Bullet Club in front of the audience where they first became infamous. Bey says the pandemic put those plans on hold, but now he wants to travel the world and make some big moments, just like some of the ones he’s seen as a fan.

“I’d like to go over to Japan and do Bullet Club stuff over there because that’s a market that I’ve never tapped. I haven’t got to go overseas before. I got my passport right before the pandemic started and I wasn’t able to see what the rest of the world was like,” Bey explained. “I’ve traveled more than I ever had as a kid through wrestling at this point on my life. Wrestling’s taken me so many amazing places within the states. I would like to now see what else there is to offer outside of the states, and other countries, other cultures.

“I’d love to go to Japan, I’d love to go to the UK and do some stuff. There’s endless work out there for me. But what I really wanna do wrestling-wise, goal-wise, is make moments. I’m a big moment guy. In wrestling, we talk about all the classic moments. Like think about some IMPACT moments, I think about AJ Styles winning the world championship, the look Sting gave him before he dove off on Matt Morgan and then AJ hit the 450 and everybody’s going crazy. That moment that they had right there when they were locking eyes, stuff like that,” Bey noted, “I wanna have more moments in wrestling that just last, with the image alone, people look at it and go man, that made me feel this way. The more of those I can create in wrestling in this timeline of mine, the better. That’s what I want, really, because moments last forever.”
