Roderick Strong, the last remaing member of Undisputed Era, wants to be out of WWE, a new report from Fightful Select states. According to the report, Strong has grown frustrated with his situation in the company and has previously asked to be released from WWE, but those requests has fallen on deaf ears. This is something that has occurred over the course of the last several months, according to Fightful and many people within NXT are surprised that Strong wasn’t one of the names mentioned during the April 29 wave of releases.
Strong re-signed with WWE right before the original iteration of Diamond Mine was introduced and now the former ROH stalwart remains the lone member of that version still with the company. Despite all these changes, including a potential name change that Strong wanted nothing to do with, WWE sources for Fightful state that Strong has remained professional in his dealings with the company. As it stands right now, WWE has Strong factored in their creative moving forward.
