Scorpio Sky regained the TNT Championship on the April 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In the main event, Sky challenged Sammy Guevara for the gold in a Ladder Match. The two men have traded the title back and forth recently. Sky defeated Guevara on the March 9 episode to win the championship before “The Spanish God” won it back at AEW Battle of the Belts II on April 16.
In this chaotic rematch, Tay Conti and Paige VanZant got involved in an effort to help their respective allies. Conti interfered and penalty-kicked Dan Lambert in the family jewels, which prompted VanZant to run to the ring to even the score.

Near the end of the match, Conti and VanZant climbed onto their respective foes’ backs and tried to step them from retrieving the title. Sky ultimately clinched the win by pushing Guevara off the ladder onto another ladder that was wrapped in barbed wire. He then unhooked the title to bring the match to a close.

After the bell, Sky’s former SCU partner Frankie Kazarian came to the ring. Sky previously promised Kazarian a shot at the gold if he let him challenge Guevara for the championship first.
