Billy Corgan says the NWA is Alwayz Ready, and now they are ready to bring the action to Knoxville for a new pay-per-view event.
Knox News recently spoke with Billy Corgan, who confirmed that the National Wrestling Alliance will present a new pay-per-view event called “Alwayz Ready”. The event will take place on Saturday, June 11 at the Knoxville Convention Center, and a TV taping will take place at the venue the following day.
“This is not a house show,” Corgan said. “We’re bringing our A-game. These are all world-class mashups you’re going to get.”
“I think the NWA’s history is because of the strength of the Knoxvilles and the Memphises and what they brought to the table that eventually became professional wrestling at the highest levels,” Corgan added. “I want to wrap my arms back around that legacy because that’s what I think of when I think of wrestling.”
Corgan also said that if the Alwayz Ready dates are successful, he would like to return to Knoxville twice a year.
Tickets for the Knoxville events go on sale 11 a.m. Tuesday at nwatix.com. The following wrestlers are scheduled to be in attendance:

- “The Brickhouse” Kamille – NWA World Women’s Champion
