Could Buff Bagwell and All Elite Wrestling’s The Butcher be the new Vicious and Delicious in the future?
Former WCW star Buff Bagwell has become quite popular again through social media in 2022 and enjoys watching and commenting on the All Elite Wrestling product. On Thursday, Bagwell was very complimentary of The Butcher, who wrestled Wardlow on AEW Dynamite the previous night. Bagwell tweeted out:
“@andycomplains hell of a job last night. You have become one of my favorites. *two flex emojis*,” Buff Bagwell said.
The Butcher saw the tweet and responded in kind, replying with:
“@Marcbuffbagwell Thank you Mr. The Stuff! Means a lot. Maybe One day i could be the vicious to your delicious! Thank you for the kind words. Means the world. *steak emoji*,” The Butcher said in response.
The exchange surprisingly led to Buff Bagwell revealing that the Vicious and Delicious tag team name that he had with Scott Norton in WCW originated from a comment from some kid at a Shoney’s restaurant, a road trip staple for many wrestlers in the Carolina/Smoky Mountain region.
“True story, the name Vicious and Delicious came from a random kid at a Shoney’s @scottnorton,” Buff Bagwell revealed in a tweet.
